Inspired workplace design for bright young business

Our client is a dynamic young business in the digital education field. They required a full design and office fitout for their brand new business premises, situated on the third floor of a converted warehouse on Buckingham Street, Surry Hills.

The Scalabrino Architecture team designed a vibrant, energising environment incorporating the company’s bright brand colours. It features 18 hotspot work stations with additional standing stations to support postural health. Two meeting rooms each provide capacity for ten people, one of which has standing room and a whiteboard for agile meetings and creative collaboration. 

The work spaces are designed to optimise natural lighting, with more subdued lighting for meeting rooms and audio visuals. An informal lounge area with inbuilt seating and tables provides a relaxed zone for people to chat with colleagues, take a break and enjoy lunch or refreshments. 

We also created a common breakout area for the entire third floor. A modern, cafe vibe with purpose built seating provides a multi-purpose space for collaboration, staff meetings, client meetings and events. The kitchen offers generous capacity with two fridges and two dishwashers. The project is currently under construction and we look forward to sharing photos here once completed.
